GoDaddy Product Video Pilot

Role: Producer
Collaborators included creative directors, editors, motion designers, and content strategists from the GoDaddy brand and design teams.
I managed the full pre-production process for GoDaddy’s first-ever product video, created to launch the new Payments and PayLinks pages. I led the internal request for funding, developed a detailed production plan, and collaborated with the design team to create storyboards and define the creative direction. I also pitched the concept to leadership, securing approval and budget to move forward. Once approved, I handed off production to the video team, who executed a shoot based on our creative vision. This was the first project where the design team drove visual direction, setting a precedent for how we could communicate product value through video. This 30-second experimental video proved the effectiveness of embedding short, web-specific product videos directly on product pages, rather than relying solely on static images. The success of this pilot inspired ongoing investment in product-focused video content and directly led me to spearhead the design and development of a new lazy-loaded video carousel component for both desktop and mobile, ensuring video could scale without performance tradeoffs.
